3 gallon batch ratio help

    3 gallon batch with 8.5 lbs of grain. Anyone think too much grain/water?

    No...unless you don't have a big enough mash tun, or kettle if you're BIABing, or you don't want an 8% beer.

    Thx DrMb. Yup ended up with just under 3 gal, and a 1.070 og, probably be in the 7.5-8% range.
