I’m flying into Fort Lauderdale next Sunday and was going to stop by for some pizza and beers on my way to the hotel. If I were to spend the $40 on an in house bottle, which one would people recommend is most worth it? Lumberjack, Bigsxxxy, or PB King?

I like all of that, so I guess I was more looking for which one was the best?

This. All 3 are great. Just depends on what flavor profile you prefer.

All 3 are fantastic. Can’t really go wrong with any of them.

So if you enjoyed all 3, and were going back to buy one bottle...which would it be?

IMO, PB King, cause I can clear a 50 pack of Reese's PB cups like no other.

Pretty sure that's the kind of advice he was looking for.

What's best to me....isn't the same for everyone. You really should take a risk and decide on your own. A few have chimed in stating all beers are solid. Also, you've got to have a stronger preference to one of those beers over the other?

    Lean that direction and enjoy

I've never seen this level of hemming and hawing over just recommending something.

I thought Bigsxxxy was dope when I had it, I was underwhelmed by Lumberjack, and I haven't had PB King. Personally I think good BWs are harder to find so I lean that way.

Personally, I've never seen this level of putting your own (not yours, but OP) beer drinking decisions in the hands of others. How the heck do you want me to compare those three beers? I liked them all, gave them approximately all the same rating. I personally prefer barleywines but who's to say that's what someone else's preference is?

Want to make a decision between the three? Go read the reviews/scores and make your own mind up. Just isn't that difficult.

How am I putting the decision in other people’s hands? I just asked if one was better than the others, that’s it. You’ve “never seen that level” of asking opinions on a beer? We’re literally on a beer message board where people share opinions of beers all day. If I’m spending $40 on a 16oz bottle of beer, then yeah...I’m going to ask people’s opinion about them. Sorry to bother everyone.

Ha what a dickhead response. What was your favorite? That’s all he’s asking. Be less weird.

I'm not a big BW guy but the PB King was like liquid Reese's Cups.. could drink that all day! This years Lumberjack is fire.. The barrel presence, the maple and coffee flavors and nose, and it is nice and thick! Last years is good too but I prefer this year
.. I'm sure those will hit the cellar after the window for the members to pick up their bottles close.

Dickhead response? I said I liked all three, go with the flavor profile you prefer. Why do I need to give any response other than that? That's my advice. Sorry you and @arkitip don't like it.

The 'never seen that level' was really a remark about the guy saying he'd never seen this level of hemming and hawing. They're all 3 great beers. Go with the one you feel like will hit the spot best. Not really sure why people are getting pressured to make a decision between the 3.
