I'm getting myself 3 tap free standing dispenser/kegerator, and there must be something wrong with the way I approach this...

After asking friends/reading online - I need help! I'd like to get kegerator that:
    1) fits three pony kegs (1/6 gallon) (this - EdgeStar KC3000SSTRIP - seems to fit the bill as per product description BUT reviewer on Amazon says - NO it won't fit)
    2) it needs to be tall enough to be able to fit 1/6 kegs with Type A coupler (or, for that matter, the tallest coupler + keg assembly)
    3) it should have 3 tap lines
    4) It does NOT have to be outside capable (I will store in basement), does not have to be super quiet/compact, either size would work (plenty of space in the basement), and be not uber expensive (ideally below $1k but I'm willing to pay $ for a quality and less hassle).

I cannot find any good material on the subject :slight_frown: I've searched this forum as well... please help:
    a) any pointers on what I should buy? I'm happy to get just links that I will read myself, or, even better, please give me models that you had good experience with
    b) manufacturers you'd recommend me calling to ask
    c) is this perhaps unsolvable task? If so - should I go with 2 tap kegerator (and require two pony kegs to fit)?

Thank you very much for any help/guidance you can give me!

My BevAir BM 23 will hold three 1/6 bbls (I’ve done it plenty of times). It will also accommodate the additional height required by a German Slider ‘A’ coupler.

One caveat though, I’d throw on a 90 degree elbow on the A couplers to ensure no line kinks.

    Find it here: https://www.micromatic.com/beer-y-and-elbows/90°-keg-coupler-elbow-ft872

Quick question though...do they actually sell 1/6 bbls with the A connector? I’m not saying that they don’t exist, but in my 26 years in the beer biz...I’ve never seen one.

Good question - I don’t know... I’ve learned from my friends who have kegerators that their models are not tall enough to fit A coupler (they are trying it with 1/2 keg).

Thank you for the pointer on BevAir BM 23 - I will check it out now.

BevAir BM 24 comes w 1 tap (not 3 I need) - I guess I can do modifications myself but for almost 1.7k I wonder if there is a better option with less hassle on my end - hence the post here.

Hey...I don’t sell them. Just making a recommendation. A three tap tower is plug n play.

Again, European brewers generally export in the following sizes: 50 Liter, 30 Liter and 20 Liter. The 30L is squat (like the former American 1/4 bbls) while the 20L is tall. I can’t imagine any kegorator brand fitting one 20L and more than one additional 1/6 bbl.

You might want to direct your research toward what is available to you in your area before diving headfirst into the keg box pool.
