That's a pretty legit list, I agree with most of them.

I hate lists that make me click 30 times to get through them.

Thanks for the link. That is a pretty solid list, but I think there are some glaring weaknesses. Hello, Pliny?

I'm sure there will be a bunch of posts along the lines of "WHAT?!?!? They didn't include XXX, or XXX? This list SUCKS!" but it really isn't that bad.
There are 8 zillion IPA's out there and they picked a pretty good range of them. They didn't include all of the ones I would've picked, but who cares?

I've tried exactly 1/2 of them. Many I can't get in my area and even a few I've never heard of on there.

Yeah, the lack of Pliny, Two Hearted Ale and anything Three Floyds is perplexing. Otherwise not bad.

Still can't figure out the Racer 5 love. What a boring IPA.

ummmm... Omnipollo Leon should not be on there. Not even close to an IPA.

I think I have seen other list by this person/group. Not a bad list, they aren't saying these are the best just ones they think everyone should try. Only real issue I have (and had with other list from them) is there are a few "NY local cannot get anywhere else and no one has heard of" beers. Though I guess that can be fun to try if visiting, but fairly useless as a national list.

Definitely surprised PtE isn't on the list. Not saying it is the best beer but it has a big following and helped give birth to the IPA movement in the US.

Overall a fun list, and now I will keep my eyes open for some of those beers if I am traveling.

Racer 5 was one of the best, widely available IPAs for a long time. Sure, now it may be overshadowed by some of the other top IPAs that have been released over the past 5 or 6 years, but Racer 5 brought a flavor profile to the table that not very many other IPAs possesed at that time. FWIW, I still really enjoy fresh Racer 5...I get a lot of citrus candy taste from it (lemon-orange lollipops)

I have got to try the Celebration Ale....I assume it's released in the winter time - based on it's cover of a cabin and snow?

    Good list, enjoyed reading it.

That list is simply OK... A few too many beers from Sweden, New Zealand, and other places I will probably never have beer from. I would have gone with the OG Jai Alai rather than the Cedar Humidor Series. Also, why the hell is Two Hearted and Pliny not on the list? A few too many obscure never heard of breweries as well. The rest of it wasn't bad.

I was about to point out that neither of the Plinys are IPAs, but rather DIPAs. Then I clicked through the list and noticed that half of the beers on that list are DIPAs.

So I guess "IPA" is being used to mean all variations of IPA? I ask especially since Wookey Jack is on there...
