Of course I'm a ticker, that's the dang point! And I decided to forgo untapped and strictly use BA so the transfer between the two is a LONG tedious process that I'm finally at. Wow some BA's on here really like to dig and prawd.. I was looking for advice on a bottle type not for reticule. Sooo funny  I think I'll have a nice BA saison cheers all

More power to ya! I, for one, do not believe your numbers. Sorry. If it's true, you are an alcoholic. If it's not, I just don't understand what you get from falsely ticking beers you haven't tried. Either way, you lose! Tick on!

3,000 beers x 4 oz (assuming they are weak ass pours). That's 1,000 12oz beers. That would take easily... two weekends tops

I once reviewed 7 beers on a Monday..... Of course I drank all those over the weekend and kept a few rough notes but ya 30 beers in and there is no need for Beeradvocate.
I gave a false review of Pliny once, I layed it on thick even had a couple of zingers in there! It got reported, I was warned and now I realize the error of my ways. I really was going to delete it on my own but it only lasted a few hours.

You can go 2 ways, either pull out a whale you have been wanting to try or you pull out a 40 of some cheap malt liquor just for the hell of it. I also find it fitting this is my 3000th post.

I really don't know the number of beers I've had. Many more than I've rated or reviewed so the number is easily in the thousands . . . but it took me 50 years to do it.

For me the milestone is just waking up in the morning and I'll drink whatever strikes my mood.

When I first joined BA I ticked a few hundred beers in the first couple days. I was transferring beers from my Untappd account, not actually drinking them at that time. Could it be someone had a beer tracking system and did a lot of drinking before joining this site? Maybe someone likes this site and is moving to it (30 beers at a time). Come on people - stop being so skeptical. Give the guy a break - and a recommendation. I'm planning on ticking a malt liquor at 1000. Do the same at 3000.

I already did it, lucid from treehouse. Very good and it was a nice break from all the stouts I've been drinking the past month
