300th Beer Celebration!

In the past 18 months I have had 988 beers (should be a lot more but didn't keep track of what I was drinking before I got Untappd). Will be celebrating my 1000th by next week I would imagine.

This got me thinking what about what I had for my "milestones" and I had to go back and look..

100 - DFH 60 Minutes
200 - NoDa Hop Drop n' Roll
300 - Dupont Posca Rustica
400 - Heavy Seas Phantom Ship

After seeing these I think I need to plan ahead and drink something special for my 500th.

A guy in my tasting group who does all his rating on ratebeer is having a special tasting in a week and a half to commemorate his 10,000th review (and he writes full reviews for everything)! He actually passed 10,000 already, but he's been saving those hand written reviews in a back-log while staying at 9,999 because a local brewery, Spellbound, brewed a special beer for him to rate as his 10,000th! It will be ready for him to pick up tomorrow =)

Shoulda kept track of what beers I had for my milestones...

 

There was a similar thread not too long ago (well, apparently right around 100 beers ago.....) that compelled me to have a special next milestone. Now I 'm afraid I'll have to stick to that model!

 

I try and crack something unique and fun for milestones on Untappd. Melange No.3 was #500 and Blue BBLs was #1000. maybe every 100 needs a special beer as my next badge is 2,500....

Don't worry, I'm not a weird stalker type person - just really like lists (other than Thrillists......) and can appreciate milestone recognition.

On your beers reviewed menu, inverse the date entered and click through the pages by increments of 100. Of course, this is just ratings as you have entered them, but if that's what you meant than there ya go.

 

Duuuude! I *heart* you...

But there's one problem - sometimes I entered beers out of order as to the dates I actually had them, and beers I had but did not review sometimes got lumped in together on the same date, which skews the site's numbering as well as my excel beer journal's numbering

 

LOL. I started drinking Malt Liquor in high school (senior). I was our "go to" beer along with Henry Weinhard. Funny, I never thought about reviewing Old English, Mickey Big Mouth, and Schlitz Tall. I guess the review would start off like..."After waking up from pissing on myself at the beach while listening to Ozzie, I opened another Mickey..."

Congrats on 300. I'm close to that milestone...

 

Just put up my 100th post on BA! Time to open up whichever beer is closest to me in celebration.

 

I just hit 700 reviews on here, nearly to 2500 unique beers on untappd though!

I recently passed #2,500. And I started keeping track here in late '07. I could easily have several hundred, perhaps even over a thousand, more, counting all the beer I drank before I joined the site.

 

My 1000th beer on Untappd was La Fin du Monde, an old favorite

 

Haven't reviewed all of them (...not even quite half just yet), but I just realized today that my "every beer I've had since I started actually liking beer back around last September" list went over the 50-beer mark this week. 50th was Azrael from Devil's Backbone, and 51st was Yuengling Bock. Kinda neat to have a local brewery and the oldest continuously-operating brewery in the country both pop up right around my first "milestone" number, if you count 50 as being one of those. XD

 

I've been hesitant to write reviews with so many people on here that do such a fantastic job of it.
I'll make it a goal to write a review for my 500th beer.
