Anyone else going on the 22nd? The collaboration roulette looks like it should be cool http://www.iheartbeer.net/2015/07/13/local-brewery-spotlight-350-brewing/
Really, nobody's going to this? Great brewery w some great beers. I can't wait, would love to meet some other BAs that are local. I live in Palos. Anyone?
I think this is going to be a blast. Music, some bad ass breweries, and looks like some really good food too. The roulette looks to be epic. I cannot wait
I grew up in Palos and went to high school with the 350 guys. Wish I could make it but am in the northern burbs now and kids/family stuff takes priority. Hope it's as fun as it sounds. Enjoy!
I don't know about calling them a great brewery. They make a few good beers. That said, I think Double Crook County will be good and the festival will be awesome. Lots of other great breweries there. Wish I could make it. Price is definitely worthwhile.
I'd rank 350 high up there on the Chicagoland list. I haven't had one bad or meh beer from them. Granted I am a Chicagoland brewery homer though
I think they make good beer if you are looking for more session-able styles and ABVs. If you want in your face 10% DIPAs and barrel aged stouts and sours then you probably wont find their beer interesting. The stuff they make is good though.
I pretty much agree kodt, not sure they have to much room for barrel aging. I live close and have never had anything bad there.
I've had tickets for quite awhile now. Really looking forward to this festival. The brewery collab/beer style/ingredient draft is an awesome idea. And then they just announced this for all the naysayers
The high ABV/BA naysayers from a few posts up. All in jest though. Hope to meet some of you this weekend.
It was ONE person that said something and in @kodt defense he was somewhat correct about them not brewing high abv DIPA's and BA beers on a regular basis. This tap list is full of beers that is obviously not a part of their regular rotation and were brewed specifically for this occasion. Regardless, that tap list looks pretty fucking sick and I'm hoping to make it out for this.
Haha! The randomness of that post cracked me up. If I can get out there on Saturday we can definitely meet up and have some beers. I'm moving to Denver at the end of the month so this might be a short lived friendship.
Good because I'll be visiting Denver first week of October Shoot me a message on here if you end up going.
Happy 1st anniversary! Solid fest. Beer selections from the participating breweries were good, the collaborations were excellent. Music is rocking, good time.
Excellent time at the fest! The beer selection was strong, lines (for the most part) were modest, and pours got bigger as the night went on. And somehow I only used two tickets....
