I was at "Taste of Arcadia" this weekend and found 38 degrees with a booth promoting their soon to open location in Monrovia. Apparently, they will be moving just east of Myrtle, where the Cuban place "Merengue" use to be. Good news for anyone on the Far East Side.
I guess that's great, if you live there but just like Beachwood, open FAR AWAY from your main location! I would be stoked if they opened up anywhere else to the west.
since i can't get their site to open, and there is little more info anywhere. question, are they closing the original, and reopening in monrovia, or are they just opening a second location?
The new location is already open. Went there 2 weeks ago. Really small space, long tables which they seat you with other parties if you're not at the bar. They had a great line up, Hawaiian Speedway Stout , BBA Ten Fidy,Xocoveza Charred and a sour raspberry from Mikkeller which by that time forgot it's name.
This somehow ended up being a 3 minute walk from where I work! Food good, taplist good, bottle list good (and expensive).
