I was wondering what it would be worth in trade, I've got 2 and wanted to flip one of them. I'm not looking for anything crazy, just wanna come close on $ if possible. Worth a 4 pack of BCBS?

It's worth basically nothing, FFF version has reported infection. Supposedly the brewpub is giving gift cards for the value of the beer if you bring it in

I haven't heard that, can anyone else confirm?

I gave it as an extra. I enjoyed the other I had but I don't think there is any value

and as far as I know the only infection was in the bruery versions

Go to the three floyds BA thread, plenty of accounts of infection there. I had one personally. There is an employee of Three Floyds that has an account that commented on the refund thing.

You might be thinking of reports in that thread of Conquistador de Muerte being infected. But the FFF guy said they tested bottles of it (and BA Moloko as well) and they came out fine but would still honor refunds if anyone came across a bad bottle.

Also Floyd D'rue, it was alright for what it was fresh but opened a bottle Black Friday and definintly has infection. Gushing bottle, cheesy smell, and taste of lacto infection. There have definitely been a few reports, the conquistador de muerte reports of infection came way after.

I've heard quite a bit of talk about the infection as well in the FFF version.

FYI, there were four different bottles:

1-bruery Rue D'floyd - infected. Bourbon barrel vanilla cherry Porter WITH coffee
2-FFF Rue D'floyd - not infected and really high demand. Bourbon barrel aged vanilla/cherry Porter WITHOUT coffee.

3-bruery Floyd D'rue - haven't heard a peep about it. Rum barrel aged.
4-FFF Floyd d'rue - unsure of the infection statements, but it was rum barrel aged and people generally disliked it. While RUE D'floyd sold out within a day, FLOYD d'rue just sat and sat.

There were four bottles and a lot of people on here seem to think there was only one, lol.

I am sitting on a bottle of the FFF Floyd D'Rue. Think I will just bring it with me to the brewery next time and see what they say.

the FFF version has been confirmed infected. Surprisingly the bruery version still hasn't developed into full blown infection and is still drinking great

I opened a Floyd D' Rue about a week ago. It wasn't the greatest beer I've ever had, but it was not infected.

Regarding FFF release edition... Had one a week or two after initial release, tasted great. Opened another on 12/25, and definitely soured. Undrinkable.
