how much is intense red going for these days

 

Framboos was/is €30 at Willems, 3 bottles a person. They told me some online beershop owners (didn't say who) came with a bunch of guys they've hired to buy up most of their stock and put it on their site for more than twice the price. At Willems they weren't really happy with that.

If you see a beer sold at your brewery for €18 on the internet the next day for almost ten times more. I think you tend to change your price policy. Can't blame them, but too bad for us.

 

Surprised they got that much and Miorge only got 6 bottles total

 

So Willems is selling bottles for 70% more than the brewery price yet they're pissed off that someone is further marking up their marked up bottles?

 

Any word on a US release? Seems like it would be soon.

 

With his reseller discount it'll be more like a 100% mark up but that's still reasonable I believe. I've seen them in some shops for a price ranging from 25-30€. Nothing wrong with that imo and we all know that the brewery always gets the least of money out of it.....The ones that should get tarred&feathered are the people muling those bottles and selling them for big bucks. Brewery sells at 19€ & gains 10€(?), official reseller sells at 30€ & gains 15€, unofficial web reseller sells at 170€ & gains 140€

 

Bullshit to me. If the 2nd seller makes more money out of it than the brewer, I don't care anymore. If people want to pay €190 for it, then go ahead. I don't blame the sellers. Shops like WIllems, Hopduvel who sell at €30 should never ever complain about people selling for more. Because they're just the same.

 

No idea what they payed for the Framboos but Willems was always very fair with their prices in the past. Bought Hommage there last year and it was only €15 a bottle.

 

I think 3F may have charged more then they did with Hommage. at my local shop I paid 28euro for Framboos. Hommage was also 15-16euro.

 

Those Hommage bottles were going for USD50 at retail shops in the U.S. have not seen the framboos pop up yet.

 

I heard that Willems also paid 18 eur for a bottle Framboos!

 

No specific updates for US release? I know that STL got bottles of Framboos last week, as my buddy picked one up at one of his bottle shops. Don't recall what he paid for it.

 

This hit Kansas City as well. ~$45

 

I only know one shop in SoCal to get them so far..90.00USD a bottle. No thanks

I was able to confirm this from an e-mail I got back from Drie Fonteinen today.

"The number of bottles of Framboos 2014 is around 3800 bottles, which were split +/- 3 ways to our own shop (+/- 1,000 bottles sold in 1 day), Belgian distributors and distributors abroad - of which a big part went to Shelton Brothers in the U.S"

 

$43 in Chicago. At the BEST store....
