So im hoping the competitiveness of NY won't rear it's ugly head and we can help each other seek out this amazing beer. Any news?

Unfortunately, there's a good chance it won't make it to NYC due to registration issues. I talked to the local Shelton rep about this and she doesn't sound too confident the issue will be resolved. If it does end up making it here, she said a select few of the "better beer stores" will get a case each.

Just being honest. If a store I frequent was allocated some bottles, I'd buy one and not say anything on here. I'm all for advocacy, but would rather someone else that spends $ at the place as a matter of course, had a chance to pick up a bottle, rather than a max-commitment beer hunter from further afield / out of town, seeing my post and rushing to the place.

That's my take in most circumstances on the very limited stuff. I think on balance you're doing more of a disservice to fellow BAs in the area by saying something on here. There is the odd exception of course. Just my opinion - likely others will disagree.

Just like cantillon in NYC, it is unlikely this will ever reach the shelf.

What are you talking about? You can buy Cantillon anyday in NYC at Eagle Provisions. Just have to be willing to shell out $100 for a Fou Foune or $50 for a Kriek that's been sitting out behind the counter since last year.

I stand corrected! Who's ready to line up for a $150 Hommage?

Its worth the get if you can find it - I have to agree with Brian though - doubt it ever reaches the shelf. I was fortunate enough to have this at the Brewery for lunch a couple months ago and to bring a bottle back. The stuff is like liquid jam - delicious!
