Just got a fresh case of 3Floyd's Zombie Dust from the brewery and when we got home and opened.....not a single bottle had a date on it. Anyone else got new bottles without a date on them?
Lol looks like someone made a goof in the back. Chances are its no more than a week old if your got it at the brewery. To be honest that beer never really gets a chance to get "old".
I agree with it being fresh...sometimes when we stop there isn't even any for sale...from a trade stand point everyone always wants to know the "date" on the bottle.......in this care there isn't a date though, lol.
As stated above, it was probably just a goof while they were bottling. Since you bought it at the brewery it was either bottled the day that you bought it, or the day before. If you are looking to trade some, and someone wants the date, I would just explain the situation (what day you bought it, etc.).
Equipment breaks down, runs out of ink, etc. so no one is perfect. I agree that the beer is fresh. There is a thread in the GL forum about ZD freshness, and I believe that one of the last posts is that the brewery packaged their last batch on Friday.
Ever now and then I'll grab a 6 pack that isn't dated for whatever reason, although the bulk of the bottles typically have dates. You should be fine though
Send me a six pack. I will use my Flux capacitor and give you an exact bottling date to the hour. Unfortunately the machine requires a full 72 oz
