    Thanks for taking care of all this, but the guy that called you action of checking everyone's beers "a little extreme" isn't even in this bif?

    You can tag me don't be afraid... I decided against it. Maybe I'll show up and bring a bottle and whisper in his hear all soft and sweet what I have. Maybe I won't it will work itself out

    He should hand you a Mickey's in a paper bag and say, "I didn't check this one beforehand so you get whatever it is."

    Then maybe you'll understand why the beers were verified beforehand.

    I don't think that was the point. The point is that you either trust in the community or you don't. Apparently you guys don't. Checking the bottles means that this is no longer a blind BIF. It should be called the DLD Single Bottle of a Pre-approved bottle that will be checked to ensure you're not a dick BIF. Sounds a lot less fun that way. But I'm not in it either- for that reason- so I'll back on out of here......

    Relax all I am not checking for above mentioned reasons. I am trusting you will bring one of the bottles you told me you would if not then I am sure someone will call you out and be outed and have your name/rep tarnished plus its to much work for me and I dont want to have any blame on me. Bring one of the bottles you listed, wrap it up, put your name on it, post the BIF results, enjoy your new beer

    Are the Buffalo Trace and High west Rye Eclipse variants or just bottles of whiskey?

    edit: If they are eclipse variants that sit on the shelf (even at $30) I would say no

    Yes eclipse and that's what thought but like I said I usually blow by the eclipse section and aren't sure which ones sit on the shelf and which dont

    As a reminder put your name on the outside package some how. I will post what I am wearing when I know the weather better. If you text I will let you know my whereabouts but dont expect me to have my phone tied to my hand I want to have fun as well.
    I will be staying lateish but am not going to stay all night so if you want to play I wouldnt wait all day. I know in years past some people have complained about this but if you dont find me you are not out any beer so take your beer home or pop it and share at DLD.
