This is moreso a "feeler" thread. The skinny is below.

    1. Three BA's per group and we focus on major regions(NW, NE, SW, SE, Midwest, NorCal, SoCal, South, East Coast, Great Lakes and MountainWest)
    2. Each person contributes 3 beers(9 total) (12 oz + on each beer)
    3. Every beer must be 3 years old or more and a grab from the cellar. Not looking for a 3yr old PtE or some swamp water. (Hauls will be posted)
    4. Three pieces of glassware and three shirts
    5. Hauls will be consumed together in a mini-tasting

If you're interested chime in and feel free to make recommendations. If not, don't threadshit.

PNW will sordove host with me as el capitan and this other dude named libbey as a possible co-captain.

In tribute to the Gang Bang BIF shouldn't this be called Menage A Trois?

Shotgun or traditional? And I know you said this is a feeler but if it pans out, do you have an idea for a tentative start date?

A little Menage A Trois, eh? Let me see who in my tasting group could meet this criteria. If you said 2+yrs age it would be a slam dunk..

I'll wait for barleywine to chime in but I'm pretty sure it would be shotgun. With a tentative ship window of late sept early oct.

I'm down, let's do this! What sorts of beers are we talkin bout? Super whale aged stuff, or just something you think is good, like my 2008 Czar or 08 Creme Brûlée? I think some people may not appreciate some beer like I do though, kinda like when a dog is stoked on a dead animal it brought you, and you're all "ew gross get that shit outta here!". For instance, I'm stoked on SA Triple Bock.

I wanna try an 08 creme brulee... i have a 10 that I'm hoping is nice and some of the sweetness died out.

Sorry to get your hopes up bud, just checked up on it and it is actually an 09, here is my review of it in the cellar reviews:

    http://beeradvocate.com/community/threads/march-cellar-reviews.2235/#post-28258

Edit: it was purchased at a Grocery store in 09, but could very well have been an 08 (if they were made that long ago).
