Well, if he is, more than 400 people behind him will still get plead, there are nearly 1,800 cases this year.

Unfortunately I won't be able to make it this year. I will be in Chicago. If anyone isn't getting their full allotment of BBPt5 I would love some. I can meet in the Detroit or A2 area and give you cash or bring you some beers back from Chicago.

due to an unfortunate incident involving me marrying someone who doesnt think beer is important and A few other things, i will be unable to attend this.

Does the BBPtf always sell out at the party or is any ever left over to the sunday? I could make it down to Marshall when they open the day after the party...

Is there a bottle count/limit confirmed? Driving in from Pittsburgh and need to figure out what time we should arrive.

There is a huge amount this year & almost 900 people can get 2 cases but I would be shocked if there is any left. Last year there were quite a few people that got shut out of BBPt5th

A lot of people in line for the release get shut out, don't think they ever would have any left the day after. Last year they had leftovers of some of the other beers but definitely not BBPT5. This year, who knows, there's almost three times as much.

Also, don't forget they had a national TV show since last year. I'd be willing to bet that LOTS of people that had no idea who DH was before that show will be there. Even if it was only 6 episodes or whatever. New "fans" will be driving from all over to get the beer and see the compound now. But if I'd have to guess, the majority of hardcore 10-12hr line dwellers will be pre-DH Nation fans. :grinning:

id say your only hope is that some people dont pick up their orders. i think last year there was some BBPT5 available at the general store the next day because of this.

Is this a public source or an inside source? Limit? Count? Or are you just creating a hoopla?

I was afraid of that, but I figured I'd give the guy at least the benefit of the doubt.

Curious question for those that have gone to this in the past...

Do they allow folks to bring portable kerosene/propane heaters for the cold wait in line?
