4 elf party 2014

Got there a little after 4:00 and was #330 - pretty sure started to get shut out in the 390-400 range.

 

That is correct, I got there about 5:30ish due to the storm, it took a lot longer to get there than anticipated, definitely line jumpers though...I was 39-something. No BBPT5, but everything else was available still.

 

line jumpers were as bad as ive ever seen anywhere. id say around 75 people jumped ahead of me when the 6am announcement happened.

I dont, I saw a ton of people in ditchs along the highway on the way home..It was dangerous..

 

Got there about 430...no plead. That makes it two years in a row I've been shut out. Hoping they find a better way this year...

If not, I'll be in line earlier than in the past.

 

I'm planning on going for the first time this year. Are these just people's friends jumping in line with them?

 

Possibly. A lot of times the jumpers will stand near someone trying to present the illusion that they are "with" that person but likely not the case. They take advantage of chaotic moments like order forms getting handed out. Either way they are fuckheads and deserve to get snowballs blasted in their faces.

Sorry but are you talking 5:30am Saturday or 5:30pm Friday? Planning on leaving here Friday morning and getting there around 4pm Friday.

Weird. I was there at 6 and got #392 I believe. No BBPT5 and no 6 Pairs. I most definitely didn't jump the line though, seemed like only around 20 people behind me. Were you #430 or did you get there at 4:30?

 

Got there at 4:30. Was order #402.

 

I will make my plans when they release details. Being that we just dropped over a grand Christmas shopping, so we will probably just show up for the party. I thought brandy barrel 4-elf was awesome and wish I bought more than one 4 pack.

Id like to go to this again but i guess im gonna wait until info to make a final call.
Anyway, the line cutting was out of control last year.
I showed up at 2AM with some 001,002 Parabola and was in the part of the line that made a U shape in the beer garden area.
When forms were released at 6AM everyone bum rushed and people near me who showed up around 2AM were shut out by people who showed up at 5AM.
I was a lucky one and got my BBPt5th.

 

That's not true. I showed up around 3:45 and was just beyond the other end of the U. When the line started moving we didn't pass anyone or get passed. By the time we reached your starting point it did seem like in front of us there was no line just a mob. We were probably too far back to cut the line even if we wanted to once it started moving. Pretty sure my number was 303.

Dark Horse needs to figure out how to narrow the chute or do what they do at Darkness and walk the wristbands out instead of having people come in.
