The bottle release list for 4Elf has been posted at Dark Horse's General Store since February. Bourbon Barrel Plead, Double Barrel BourbRum Plead, Rum Barrel 4Elf, and 666 Sasparilla Stout are scheduled to be released on December 14th. There's no mention about previous year's bottles of BBPt5th being available. They weren't satisfied with the 666 Sasparilla Stout in 2014, so they didn't release it. Hopefully it makes the cut this year.

 

Ok, so popped a '14 bbpt5 tonight, and I may second the I word......incredible.

 

Fully agree with above... 2012 is like licking a mud puddle... Well, it's what I can IMAGINE it would be like at least...

Are you 100% sure the release is on the 14th? That's a Monday. I thought it was always a Sat/Sun event?

 

The flier they have posted does say 4 Elf Party - December 14. I got to believe that is an error with the date.

 

I hope so cause I already booked a hotel room (as a home base) for 11-13 so I can finally make my first 4 elf party.

Hoping that it's a typo, but I took a picture of the flyer and just checked it. It's odd. The dates for the crawfish boil, cancer benefit, and halloween party are listed ok (June 13, September 12, and October 31), but 4Elf shows as December- 14. I hope that it's screwed up since I took time off also.

 

November 14th is a Saturday...perhaps they were just looking at the wrong month on the calendar? I'm going to tell myself that and hope it's true.

 

I thought that they'd made mention of this year's party date on Facebook. They did. On their January 5th post that has the 4Elf video, they posted "Check out this years 4 Elf Party Recap video...Looking forward to next year's on 12/12/15!!!". We'll probably head that way during the upcoming week. If it's still posted the same, I'll ask about it.

 

Were you there last winter? People started lining up around 12pm the day before and I am pretty sure people who got there after 8-9pm who got in line didn't any bottles of the more limited special beers like DBPT5. If you just want BBPT5 you can pretty much show up any time in the morning and get into line. They were even offering to sell cases of it the next day after 4Elf.

 

FWIW, I was in line around 11pm and was shut out of 2012 BBPt5, 2013 BBPt5 and BourbRum.
