I’m going to start my rant here. I quite frankly think that’s its blasphemy that people can come at get wristbands the night before the release as early as 9:45 PM and then LEAVE and come back as soon as they start handing out the allotments the next day at 11AM. It is beyond ridiculous that 450 maintains a “reputation” for having people “camp out” over night for their wristbands/beer when over half of the people who are even able to receive the beer, due to poor allotments (who allows 5 four-packs per person when the 350th - 400th person in line can’t get any of the beer from the release). This information is nowhere to be found online. Had I been aware, I would have cheated the system last night like many people had; however I was unaware and got in line at 8:30 this morning and received two of the lesser slushies, both mediocre IPAs, and the remaining 2 remaining 4-packs of the flapjack stouts. Having arrived to the last release at 3PM and receiving 2 slushies and 2 IPAd from the restaurant cooler, I find this absolutely ridiculous. I hope those reading this learn the “hacks” to a 450 release and cheat the system to the extent that the regulars do. It is absolutely disgusting to me that people sell these beers for $10+ per can due to exclusivity and I find it absurd that people who purchased a 4-pack 5 minutes before for $20 are in the parking lot selling it for $50 and 450N allows this.
I feel your pain, but maybe this would be a better place to express it: https://www.beeradvocate.com/community/threads/450-north-brewing.606919/page-3 Closing this down.
