5.5 oz Libbey Embassy Brandy Snifter

    Anybody else have/use these? I just ordered a case of 12...or...I just had said case arrive at my girlfriend's house...and I'm wondering what y'all think of them for tastings or things like DLD bottle shares...hoping I didn't buy too small.

    Looks like some cool glassware to have around if you regularly have tastings, or just tend to share bottles of strong beers in general. Also great if you're a brandy drinker.

    I'm not averse to Brandy...but I don't generally drink it either...just looking for something good for tasting type situations...something good for experiencing small pours in a way similar to how I/others would experience larger pours in another larger glass...not sure what to expect...certainly no worse than the typical tiny tasting glass or plastic cup.

    I bought a case of these about 5 years ago and they have survived countless whales over the years. Only managed to lose one. I think if you have a tasting with more than a few people, they are an ideal size.

    I wish the opening was a bit larger for aromatics, but I would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone. I think I paid about $20 from Amazon for a case of 12 back then.

    I have a few 5-6 oz snifters and they're perfect for tastings.

    Perfect for sampling too, I wish beer bars would follow suit & serve their flights in them.
