5-7 gallon used barrels

By "used" in what fashion would you prefer it to have been used before- wine, beer, tequila, gin, etc?

if you watch they also have 10gal medium toast that had brandy in it, but they are currently sold out

 

I bought a 10 gal rum barrel and put 10 gals of Stone AB clone in it...tasted/pulled at 7 days and it was like drinking charcoal...the beer was beautiful but what a disappointment...I haven't had the nerve to put anything in the barrel since...I might make 2 planters out of it...

 

where are you located? I might be interested in purchasing said barrel
