Has inflation impacted the campus kegger market? Can I still get a cup for $5?

$5 for a cup at a kegger? Assuming a pint, that's $40 a gallon, or over $600 for a 16.5 gallon keg. Who were those beer party profiteers? Where did you go to college?

The $5 cup could be refilled infinite times

I've recently had to start looking for a new barber after my regular passed away. I get in the chair, we discuss what I want done, and then I close my eyes and go into a meditative state. None of the new candidates have attempted to carry on a conversation with me.

A lot of things being mentioned are pet peeves that just annoy you vs red flags which are meaning to stay clear and don’t go back to a brewery. Maybe it’s just my definition I suppose. If a girl I was dating as a teenager puts her feet on my dashboard, that isn’t cause for a breakup…just annoying r, but if I find out she’s been in rehab and that she’s on meds for her bi-polar/ schizophrenic issues, that’s a red flag.

I think for the most part then, they are red flags causing some to choose not to go to those offending places. Of the list, I’m most of the time ok with an all IPA tap list but, if it were all sours or all high ABV that would be a red flag for me.

#5, exclusively using pint glasses doesn't bother me. Probably more cost effective for the establishment already operating on a tight margin.

Yeah, well, not all of us have just killed a Coors Light swilling hobo and are anxious to avoid prosecution for said deed.

You bring up a fair point. It's not like I don't have the material to work with nearby.

But while we're on the subject, the nozzle should not be immersed in the lager. That's improper draft pour technique

What annoys me more is when they only take cash

I 'hear' what you are saying here but I frequently see bartenders pour beers where the nozzle touches the glass. So...

    Cheers!

Yeah I know, it is a way to get around foamy pours, but if the bar/brewery in question is having that issue, that's what flow control valves are for. Whenever I see a bartender touch the nozzle to the glass or liquid, definite red flag for me. Haven't seen it in a long time though (or I'm not paying attention as much)

Once again, I 'hear' what you are saying. If I decided to never go to a bar/taproom where one of the bartenders let the nozzle touch the pint glass I would likely have to solely drink beer at home.

    Cheers!
