So I really want to brew a coffee stout using a 5 gallon partial boil setup, but I can't seem to find any good recipes anywhere. Do any of you brewmasters know of a good coffee stout recipe? I'm looking to utilize my friend's coffee bean roaster for this. Not really sure if the beans themselves are added to the boil or if actual coffee is used.

Any help at all would be great.

    Thanks!

Go to byo.com and look up recipes. There is a founders breakfast stout clone recipe. There might be a few more as well.

Ive had good success using the "cold extraction" method.
