5 Seasons Westside's First Bottle Release is 10/8!

Now that the City of Atlanta has (almost) caught up to the rest of the world (yes, I know, we still have a long way to go), we can actually have our very own Bottle Release! So Saturday, October 8th it is.

We will have a couple of JD barrel aged Quads that are coming up on two years at this point. The Electric Jimmy Quad and The Acoustic Jimmy Quad. The Quad itself is a very traditional Belgian(style) Quadruppel, brewed with Belgian malts and fermented with a beautiful Trappist yeast strain with all their wonderful fruit and spice flavors. We added some extremely dark candi sugar to the kettle. The Electric Jimmy Quad aged in a whiskey barrel for 4 months and the Acoustic Jimmy Quad aged in a whiskey barrel for 8 months (more wood!) This beer was serenaded to by the music of Atlanta guitarist Jimmy Galloway live on brew day when he came and set up in the brewery and by his CDs while the beer fermented and conditioned. While the beer has aged in our Cellar it has developed layers of plum, pear and apple amongst the rich maltiness and the caramelized sugars. We will have these available in 750 ml bottles that are corked and caged. They are $25 each or we have a "gift bag" with one of each for $40. (The bag won't be pretty though, but it serves its purpose!)

In order to make sure everyone that wants one can get one without a lot of hassle, we have set up an email account to place your order ahead of time so that we can fill them and have them ready for you on Saturday, October 8th. So just email us at [email protected] and let us know how many of each bottle you would like. Please specify "Electric", "Acoustic" or "both" in your email. We open at Noon that day and you can come get them anytime that day.

WE WILL ONLY HAVE 48 BOTTLES OF EACH. THAT'S IT.

This should be fun and we look forward to doing a lot more of these now that Atlanta allows it!
