I'll probably order 2 of each for myself and my buddies will probably tack a bunch onto there to (hopefully) keep the shipping down.

That being said - got plenty of time to figure out if I can schedule a trip up to pick 'em up!

Go with the wheat whiskey. You don't see those too often for BA beers.

none of them really stand out to me like last years version. ill probably just get a rebel yell and an old fitz. was hoping for evan williams again, i loved that one.

hopefully i can make it up again this year to the release and try them all. had a blast last year. be nice to get a pvw this time tho!

I'll be trying to do this too, been looking forward to this. Do these bottle limits seem really high to anyone else?

Also, is this the first year they've done something like this with the futures? Either way, I figure we'll have to be ready to order when these are available.

Does anyone remember what the shipping to CA residents was? I only ordered 2 bottles last year, but they didn't charge me anything for shipping. Once I paid my second fee they shipped it out.

I know they definitely did the futures last year and the limits were similar. Most of the barrel treatments will see limited distribution, they make quite a bit of this stuff.

Shipping in tax was included in the second fee.

Rebel Yell is also a wheated bourbon and I believe Old Fitzgerald is as well.

i alluded to it here, but you guys do realize you can get 2 bottles of rebel yell for the price of 1 eclipse, and old fitzgerald for a cheaper than an eclipse, right? holy bottom shelf batman...

Right. As I stated in another Eclipse futures thread, Rebel Yell is my go to cheap bourbon for cocktails etc. I was just making the point that Bernheim isn't the only wheated whisky treatment of the bunch if somebody was making a decision on which to buy based on that. Though it is the only non bourbon wheated whisky.

I'll probably do 1 of everything, maybe more if somebody needs a mule.

Logic dictates that I should spend my unexpected tax refund on something other than a $180 sixpack, but I have a feeling a bunch of my money's going to end up fuelling Truckee's economy.
