50 State LIF- Part 2

This is in response to my win of ruizjoseph’s LIF "50 State LIF - Part 1". The premise is the winner of this LIF will start their own LIF (Part 3) that will go to someone in a state other than their own. (example: winner of this LIF is in New York, they will then start a LIF that can go to anyone in the US besides NY, next winner's state is then excluded from winning and so on...) In theory the LIF continues on until it has hit each of the states. The pool of players gets smaller as the LIF continues and players from previous states are eliminated. I would bet that a few states might not have enough active BAs, but we’ll see how it goes. Also, although the title says 50, I'm personally limiting it to lower 48 & DC. Also excluded is NY now.

Please only participate in this LIF if you can start your own LIF in a reasonable timeframe. Your LIF can be whatever type of competition you want it to be, the only rule of mine you have to follow is players from your state and previous winner’s states are not eligible for the contest. I'm starting this with a six bottle styro shipper, let's see how long it holds up. Now, onto the game:

I’ve made this pure guesswork – no research required. I'm attempting to keep this state-related due to the topic of the LIF. The first person to answer the following questions wins this LIF:
1. What State Have I also Lived in other than New York?
2. What State Does My Best Friend Live I?
3. What second state did my sister live/work in?
4. What third state did my sister live/work in?
5. What foruth state did my sister live/work in?

I will chime in with hints. One guess per hint.

FIRST HINT: Answer for One and Four share a border. No other answers do.

I have to put my daughter to bed at the moment so it will be about 15 minutes until the next hint.

 

HINT 1: Not only was there not a single correct answer yet, but not a single state was hit at all......start again.
