50 States LIF Part 10

    Well it seems a negative trend but the it always takes too long to get the next round started, and I’m guilty. Hopefully the new winner will break the pattern and start the new LIF quickly. This is part 10 of the 50 states LIF and my first LIF so bear with me here...

    I will be sending a bottle of Atrial Rubicite batch 2 in this box. I will def be sending some other tasty beers, and I will try to hit a want or two with my limited cellar (closet).

    Please only participate in this LIF if you can start your own LIF. Your LIF can be whatever type of competition you want it to be, the only rule you have to follow is players from your state and previous winner’s states are not eligible for the contest.

    States NOT eligible are:
    CA, MI, IL, NY, MN, PA, OH, CT, WA, TX

    Also like the original, I'm going to limit it to the contiguous 48 states
    Keeping with the others before me I will keep the Q's loosely about states. I will update daily with hints, limit one guess per hint/day:


    1) I have travelled to 3 states outside TX to see my favorite band. What states are they and who is the band?

    2) My wife used to be an international flight attended for about 8 years. What 3 states did she live in while she had that job.

    3) I had an impromptu bottle share with a couple BA’s last Friday. We only opened 11 beers, but breweries from 6 states were represented, name those states.

    4) The wife and I have 5 out-of-state trips already planned for next year, and 1 out of the country trip. Name what 5 states we will be visiting and what country.

    5) For Christmas I travelled to see my sister and family. I had a layover going and coming home, and was lucky enough to be in an airport with decent/mediocre beer bars. Name the two airports and the beer bar I went to in each.

    I know these are random questions, but I want this to go more than a day, I will give hints this evening.

    These are all just guesses, but I agree this one will go on for a while.

    I know this is hard so I'll start giving out multiple hints per day. You can re-guess once per hints.

    1. Band not guessed, LA is the first state.
    2. Michigan is correct, she flew for Delta but the other states aren't necessarily hubs.
    3. TX, IL all correct. One state was represented with 4 growlers as no bottles were available.
    4. FL and LA are both correct. I will be going to LA again to see my favorite band in March.
    5. One has been guessed correct.

    Band still not guessed, I've been down with them since 1997.

    I'm an idiot, she flew for Northwest before they were bought out. One of the states is a beer wonderland and also is in question 3 but hasn't been guessed yet

    3. TX, IL all correct. One state was represented with 4 growlers as no bottles were available.
    TX, IL, PA, GA all correct.

    4. FL and LA are both correct. I will be going to LA again to see my favorite band in March.
    Fl, LA, PA, CO, Mexico all correct. Last state has been guessed in question 3 but was wrong.

    5. One has been guessed correct.
    Sweetwater was the first correct answer, we flew delta home from Philly and had a layover on the way for the second bar/airport.

    1. Band not guessed, LA is the first state.
    Band still not guessed, I've been DOWN with them since 1997. I went on a cruise to see the band as well.

    2. This question is a mess, I gave bad clues twice. So, the correct answers are MI, MN, OR.
    .
    3. TX, IL, PA, GA, OR all correct. Last state is a directional state.

    4. Concealed got it right! FL, LA, PA, CO, OK, Mexico

    5. One has been guessed correct.
    Sweetwater was the first correct answer, we flew delta home from Philly and had a layover on the way for the second bar/airport.
    The airport is not technically even in the same state as the city it services.

    2, 4, and 5 all answered correctly.

    One of you three has #3 as well.

    Still no one guessed the band correctly, some of the bands i have seen open for my favorite band: Alien Ant Farm, Hoobastank, Matisyahu, Slightly Stoopid, Cypress Hill....
    LA still only state guessed where I have travelled to see them as well.
