    Ooh proxy.
    1. When I was a kid, I visited a National Park every year with my family, now my favorite place on earth. What park was it? Colonial National Park (Jamestown/Yorktown)
    2. My family and I did a tour that included a series of National Parks a couple years ago, name 2 of the 4 parks visited. John D Rockefeller Memorial Parkway and Grand Teton NP, but probably hit Devils Tower National Monument on the way out.
    3. My family and I took a vacation and stayed in a hotel on one of the largest mountains in the US. What Park and what hotel? Yellowstone, Teton Mountain Lodge and Spa
    4. My wife and I visited a National Park today, what Park? Manassas or as we call it Bull Run

Man, we are narrowing in. I'll provide some more hints tonight. I will say it is not Manassas, but I live within walking distance to it. Love taking walks around that battlefield.

OK, hint: There was an important battle at the national park referenced in question 4, but not a civil war battle.

Any limit on how many times a day we can guess? Does anyone have any questions correct yet?

No rules for or against. I'd say that a new guess is warranted/allowed after any hint or update I do.

Are the answers actually National Parks from what I found? It seems like everyone is giving names of Parks that arent actually national parks

All are national parks, but I never said it was in Virginia ... but #4 was a day trip.

Let me clarify this one, I live within walking distance to the Manassas battlefield. The answer to question 4 was a day trip, outside Virginia. Sorry if I caused confusion...

    Hints, hints, hints...

Previously given hints (with question it relates to):
Going with a military theme will get you one answer, and the park has a great significance still today (question 4)
None of the guesses so far are an answer to any of the questions (all at time of post)
Only one of the parks is in a state that is excluded from this BIF (question 1 is in a state excluded from the BIF))
@MCMASTERSANCHEZ has one park right, but not the complete question. (question 2)
there is a hint in words of question 3. (duh)
There was an important battle at the national park referenced in question 4, but not a civil war battle.
All are national parks, but I never said it was in Virginia ... but #4 was a day trip.

    New hints!
Question 1: There is a beer with the same name as a famous site in this park.
Question 2. @MCMASTERSANCHEZ was close with one correct answer. The other three parks are in a neighboring state.
Question 3. @hansenm72 hit this park, but not on the right question.
Question 4. this park is within 3 hours of Centreville VA.

    Good luck!

    1. Isle Royale National Park
    2. Grand Canyon National Park & Zion National Park
    3. Hawaii Volcanoes National Park / Hawaii Volcano House Hotel
    4. The only one of the 58 national parks within 3 hours of Centerville VA is Shenandoah National Park but that was guessed and then a hit was no answers have been guessed so I am confused. Unless you are counting national forests as well in which case George Washington National Forest (2 hrs away)

So, I will clarify my intent on question 4 (for all these questions really).

I count all 401 National Park sites listed on the NPS site as National Parks (as they do) and therefore as good answers. I did not differentiate between the types of the 401 parks (National Parks (of which there are 58), National Monuments, National Historic Sites, etc.), but can see how we got to this.

So, a new hint for question 4: this site is a National Monument.

I will provide updates tonight, and more hints if needed. I can say that I've seen questions 1 answered correctly, multiple single (half) correct answers for question 2, and the first half of question 3.

    Guess away!
