50 States LIF pt 11

    Well it seems a negative trend but the it always takes too long to get the next round started, and I’m guilty. Hopefully the new winner will break the pattern and start the new LIF quickly. This is part 11 of the 50 states LIF and my first LIF so bear with me here...

    I will be sending a bottle of Lawsons or two along with several other tasty/limited/semi-rare/worthwhile beers in this box. I will try to hit a want or two with my limited cellar.

    Please only participate in this LIF if you can start your own LIF. Your LIF can be whatever type of competition you want it to be, the only rule you have to follow is players from your state and previous winner’s states are not eligible for the contest.

    States NOT eligible are:
    CA, MI, IL, NY, MN, PA, OH, CT, WA, TX, MA

    Also like the original, I'm going to limit it to the contiguous 48 states

    Keeping with the others before me I will keep the questions loosely about US states/countries/provinces of Canada. I will update at the end of the day with hints, limit one guess per hint or day:

    1) I have immediate family members and first cousins in 7 states across the country, which states are they?
    2) Name the five foreign countries that I have traveled to most recently.
    3) On the day of this post I have beers from breweries based in five states outside of New England in my kitchen fridge. Name those states.
    4) I have 3 beercations (beer vacations) planned for summer of 2014, excluding New England, to brewpubs or bars that are primarily associated with one brewery, although they may serve others libations. Name the destination and the establishment/or brewery they are associated with.
    5) Which 3 foreign countries do I have beers in my cellar from. Excluding Belgium because that is too easy. :slight_smile:

    Good luck to all, I will do one round of hints per day somewhere between 9AM - Noon EST and hopefully wrap this up by the end of the week.

    Cool. Thanks for all the interest folks. Sorry @blackcloud re: no Alaska shipping.

    1) 6 out of the 7 have been guessed so far. I did not include my fellow Massachusetts residents in this. Tomorrow's hint will start to nail this question down.
    2) CANADA, BRAZIL, MEXICO, SPAIN are correct
    3) First state is Texas, One state is on the Pacific coast, one state is on the Atlantic coast, south of the Mason Dixon, one state is in the Great Lakes region, and one state is in the Mountain Region
    4) None of the places mentioned were part of my list of three. One of the three is in Canada. Name the province and location.
    5) Guessed correctly so far Canada, Italy

    4) Tired Hands - PA, Dieu du Ciel - Quebec, the final one is going to be the toughest, it is an establishment associated with a brewery, but it does not share the name of the brewery. It is within a 10 hour drive from Springfield, MA
    5) Canada, Italy - one more outstanding, it is the country my wife was born in and I will be going to next

    Thanks for the interest, seems like we have four or five playing! no problem if you want to jump in now that we are the finish line.
