5000 beers

That method would probably get me to near 1,000. A far cry from your total.

 

For my 2000th I did a blind tasting with friends of other half forever ever, heady topper, sip of sunshine, Julius and hop dash and roll and then finished with black butte 27. I was lucky to get those beers in the same room, all very fresh but the blind tasting was really fun

 

Have a whale shandy

1/3 HT, 1/3 Pliny and 1/3 Natty Ice.


Maybe that should be whales and sprat shandy

5,000 is a staggering number. I've been using the app for years, attend 15-20 festivals and events a year, host or attend a bottle share probably every 2-3 weeks, trade...and I'm at 4,117. Still a ways away.

I'd like to see who the degenerates are who hit the 10,000 badge.

 

Other. Start a gofundme to pay for a simultaneous fireworks display, skywriter, and private performance by Nelly. Sacrifice a lamb, write "5K" on your forehead with its blood, and immediately shotgun the Julius.

 

I'd say suit what fits your personality best. Don't try to do something that isn't you. I wanted to do something special for the occasion, but then became complacent. My 5000th beer ended up being Little Kings Cream Ale. My coworker had this crap at work for after work beer and I somehow had never come across it, so I tried it. Anticlimactic for sure. Oh well, beer is beer. I plan on making #10,000 more exciting.
