I tried a ton of their brews last Friday night (kids away - date night!). Passe, Mediocre, Cuke/Basil Saison, Mexican Wheat, Bever Weiner, 3 way and there was one more... They were all fantastic, but the Passe was phenomenal! It really is up there with pS in my book. Mediocre was great too, I just liked the overall smoothness of Passe. Part of the "Meh Series" my ass...

Very cool that they now have 515 branded IPA glasses (complete with nucleation point!) $13 including pour, $10 without.

They just got them in stock yesterday. I'll be there around 3:00ish this afternoon to drink out of/purchase mine!

May be in town tonight for a concert, and will definitely be going to 515 before if I end up traveling. Love this place.

Also, those branded IPA glasses are Spiegelau, so they are legit.

Are they the Spiegelau IPA tulips?

Perhaps I am wrong but all glasses in that shape ("IPA glass") are made by Spiegelau as far as I know. They own the design I believe.

The IPA glass actually says spiegelau on it. We also picked up a tulip and it has no marking on it, so not sure.... It has a very heavy base on it. The IPA glass is deceptively thin.

They are so thin that if you squeeze them (not too hard!) they actually bend/flex without breaking. Crazy stuff.

The IPA glasses are legit speigleau glasses. The Belgian tulips are just standard Libbey glasses you can get a lot of places (we even serve our standard Belgians out of them just non-branded).

Sorry for any confusion! (And yes I have already claimed about 3 of them for myself. They are great!)

This is what I was referring to as the Spiegelau IPA tulip. Is this what 515 has?

Are you guys serving in the IPA glass to customers who don't buy the glass? I have yet to break any but the thin walls always make me nervous. I hand wash mine with the same bottle brush I use to clean my 11mo's bottles…

Yup that's the glass. And no we aren't serving them to ppl unless you buy one unfortunately. Love drinking beer out of them but breakage is a concern, though the bigger concern is sticky fingers! You'd be surprised how many glasses you loose to that.

Lot of "it depends". Want to make sure the beer coming out of the new system is the beer we want to make, and then we have a lot of little logistical concerns, but growlers are getting closer every day!

No Reidel makes a 16oz version of the IPA glass too.

I haven't seen those myself, but Reidel owns Spiegelau so that would make sense
