I'm wondering if anyone has any experience with these guys, I was thinking of getting a starter kit but need some info on weather or not it's worth 125 to start. Any input would be helpful thanks

What is involved for the $125. 5L doesnt seem too useful to me, at least for my needs.

125 includes four 5 liter kegs the tap cO2 charges, looking at this route bc I don't have 275 to get started on a corny

Is buying used cornies an option? I'd go that route if so.

I have not used the system you refer to, but i have used them as mini casks. Basically, i put only a small amount of priming sugar and some whole lesf hops in a hop sack and let sit for a month. They are a nice size to pour a lot of 4oz glassex at a party.

My wife bought me a mini keg for Christmas two years ago. It's still in the box.

I'd save your money, get another $75 together and you can find some good deals on 2 used kegs, dual regulator and all the connections. Use some cobra taps until you want to build a full on keezer.

There are a million different ways to build a nice kegerator. You can make it as cheap or expensive as you want. I bought the 2 5 gal corny keg setup from Midwest like 4 or 5 years ago, and a new mini fridge, instead of buying some expensive tower, I made a box to mount the 2 tap handles that came with it that I built out of an old entertainment center. It turned out great. That being said, idk why anyone would want a 5L keg. Unless you make 5L batches (does anyone do that?) Go big or go home. Build something custom to fit your needs, its more fun that way!
