    Hi

I will be spending 6 hours in Frankfurt on a Sunday in April and am trying to find in advance bars/restaurants in the city where I can have top german beers on tap.

After some research I've found spots serving Weihenstephaner Hefeweiss, Paulaner Hefeweiss + Dunkel and Andechser Dunkel.

Does anyone know places with Schneider Weisse, Ayinger or any other really good beer on tap? I'm also interested in the local Binding Carolus Der Starke or any other nice doppelbock on tap.

Leaving the airport to go downtown in between flights is risky if you ask me. You can of course jump on the train which connects to main train station (Hauptbahnhof) and then look around that area, but if you decide to get adventuresome with the railways, it might not be such a good idea.

Add to this that it's really not a good beer-town and the decision to stay in one of the pubs or check out the market within the airport for a few special beers might be a better idea.

If you do decide to head downtown, I'm sure that @boddhitree might have a suggestion or two.

I actually have 10 hours to wait between flights, so the 6 hours are already my conservative estimate of time spent in the city. Should be enough to explore the center and visit a handful of bars.

Looking forward to any suggestions...
