A buddy of mine brought me up a growler of their intergalactic pale ale a few months ago and it was sweet! I would love to see these guys make it big
They just released bottles of one of their first sours - "Nothing Too Fancy" - a raspberry sour that I got to taste a little bit of without opening my bottle. I can't wait to see where their sour program goes...!
I was there back in January only a couple weeks after their grand opening... Never have I been so impressed with a new brewery, wow they were incredible. I'm really looking forward to my trip back to the area in 3 weeks, I'll be spending a lot of time there
Thinking about stopping by today for the first time. What are their standards I can expect to see on tap?
Everything is great. The FYA is always a favorite of mine. They also do 4oz pours which is nice so you can try everything. Just opened a bottle of their Solitary Confinement on Wednesday and it's drinking great right now. Enjoy!
They release bottles on occasion, usually pretty small amounts. I think Solitary Confinement was around 400. They usually do a fair amount of releases a year, but overall brewery only (Lukens has done a couple releases with them). I am sure you will enjoy your visit there.
I'd pass on that one, Sam. Or wait until someone brings it to a share. It's an ok beer, but nowhere near their best stuff. I had it once the day before the MBCP release and again around Huna day, and unless by some miracle it has gotten exponentially better since then it's probably not worth trading much for. Wish i had an extra bottle, i'd just give it to you so you can get the tick and move on!
Thanks Ray. I've actually had it twice. Not so much for the tick. I was just very very impressed. Maybe it's fallen off since I had it but I'd like the opportunity to see
Loved this little brewery. The 4oz pours for $2/ea was perfect. Their lineup was anything but the normal styles. They had a cucumber gose that was unlike anything I've had beforeā¦just refreshing. Excellent DIPA too. Will be back again before long.
I guess that's why we all have different palates. I had it fresh and with some age, neither were impressive for me. I guess i interpreted your post wrong, to me it seemed like you never heard of it or had it. Oops. Good luck in your quest!
