Forthcoming Announcement: Yes Virginia, we are planning on opening a 2nd store in Detroit. The new store will be called 8 Degrees Plato Detroit. We have signed a lease for space at 3401 Cass. We are looking to open by late 2014/early 2015. Yes, there will be taps involved. We are looking to still remain a beer store first, but you will be able to have a beer while you shop or take home a growler. We would like to take time to thank all of you for your support over the last 3 years or so. We have often been asked why we chose Ferndale and we have honestly replied that we think 'Ferndale chose us'. Our goal is to take all of the things that made us successful in Ferndale and spread it to Midtown. Hopefully, we can become the Official Unofficial Beer Store of Detroit quickly. Best of luck Tim, beer stores with taps are pretty popular in other beer-centric parts of the country and this will be great for Detroit and the up and coming midtown area especially with all the development going on in the near future.
