    This one's for all you reviewers out there.

    Simply fill in the blanks on what you consider a 3/5.

    To me, a 3 is the ultimate mark of averageness - not bad, not good, it just sort of exists. 'Course, 3's can vary wildly depending on the beer style: a 3/5 lager is a perfectly acceptable, even decent quaff that I'd gladly pound without really thinking; while a 3/5 imperial stout is flawed and underwhelming - nothing I'd consider buying again.

    A 3/5 should be average for everyone, because 3 is average under our rating system.
