I'm sure some of these have been said already, but Goose Island BCBS/any bourbon county, DFH Sixty-One, Bell's Two-Hearted cans, FW Double Jack, and, when available, FW Wooky (though I think that's either a limited release thing or a new limited distro thing).

Speaking from Australia here - the only beer that is worth it in a 4-pack is one that is on sale.

Wow. We get a single for not less than $5 over here (Australia). But the Aussie government sucks - we have massive taxes on beer.

Even at $15 I never feel like I'm getting ripped off when I buy Ten Fidy.

And still worth it! That's only a $6 bomber price for one of the best non-barrel aged stouts, I'll buy a 6-pack every year.

Everything is more expensive in the DC metro area, compared to most other parts of the country.

But overall, I think most craft beers are priced just fine, no matter 4 or 6-pack. If I just wanted an alcohol delivery device, I'd be drinking vodka.

I'm stunned that no one has named Tank 7 or any of the other Smokestack beers that come in 4-packs (Sixth Glass, Dark Truth, Long Strange Tripel, Double Wide).

But as has been hinted at already, pretty much any Founders 4-pack fits the bill for my money: Backwoods, FIS, Red's Rye, Harvest, FBS, KBS, Double Trouble, Curmudgeon. The only two I won't buy are Rubaeus and Devil Dancer, because I usually don't want four bottles of either of those. I'm also not a huge fan of Dark Penance.

@LambicPentameter Dark Truth got a mention on the first page. But I agree that all of Boulevard's Smokestack beers deserve a place of honor in this thread.

For me, the ultimate 4-pack was this year's 3-Way IPA from Fort George/Boneyard/Block 15. I was happy to pay $10-$12 for a 4-pack of 16-ounce cans all summer long.
