Reps have been told it will be increased 35% in parts of Illinois; from $20 last year for variants to $27. I guess InBev isn't making enough money. Or maybe they gave employees a 35% pay hike and think you should pay for it!

I guess I will be ‘that guy’: most of the 4-packs at my local beer stores are priced in the neighborhood of 10 bucks. I am typically able to purchase high quality beers of similar styles in the neighborhood of 10 bucks. So, why should I pay 10 bucks for a 4-pack when I can typically obtain a similar high quality beer style for 10 bucks? I will provide the answer: I typically don’t purchase 4-packs.

I cannot claim that I have never purchased 4-packs but it is a rare occurrence.

    Cheers!

Brooklyn Chocolate is maybe the best value at 7.99 for a 4-pack of 10% awesome chocolate stout. SN 4-packs are great, usually all at $9.99. I like that Bell's has been doing 16oz 4-pack cans for $7.99, in fact now that I think about it Bells Brown and Two Hearted for that price is really fantastic. I just mentioned it in another thread but Terrapin has some overpriced 4-packs including moo-hoo and pumpkinfest for $9.99 each, but both are 6% beers with no barrel aging or anything. They should be 7.99. Dogfish has some good 4-packs too.

Personally, I love 4-packs. It's the beers that would otherwise be in bombers, so I prefer the 4 12 oz bottles. It's rare I see imperial stouts in 6-packs. Per ounce they are still more "worth it" than bombers. Anybody with me?
