A 4-pack that is worth it?!!!

4 packs that have 16oz beers are usually a solid deal. Tallgrass, Surly and Urban Chestnut for example.

 

Must be careful with those high ABVs, staggering is not respecting beer.

Odell Mountain Standard is probably my top 4 pack. I drank two bottles of it last night and it always amazes me at how great it is.

 

My local shop has Half Acre Daisy Cutter 4 pack (pint cans) for 8.45 , this would equate to a 9.50 6 pack of 12oz

KBS at just about any price.

 

Picked up a four-pack of Dogfish Head's Olde School Barleywine earlier this evening, and the guy kept repeating the price as though he thought it might be important ($18.95).

From the descriptions I've read it might taste more like a Belgian Quad, but that's fine -- It's Doghead and the ABV is double-digit, so as soon as it's cool enough, I will be checking it out.

My complaint is that I would have preferred a bomber ....

 

Last year a case $66.00 out the door, this year it was about $90.00

 

Duvel is definitely one of my favorites.

 

Breakfast Stout would be my #1 4-pack out there, and I think it's at a good price point.
