A beer a day

One beer, two beer, hoppy beer, bed

 

I probably drink 4/5 nights a week. Usually never more than 3 at a sitting. At 57 I can't afford to and don't want to drink TOO much anymore. A small buzz I think is ok. But I keep an eye on myself as to how much I am drinking lately. If I've had a few in a good # of nights in a row I just take a night off or two. I don't want it to become a habit.

 

generally 1 a day. Maybe a few days with no booze... and maybe a few days with more than 1. I don't like that buzzy feeling too much.

 

So what was going on that very first day that limited your intake to a paltry 3 beers?

 

don't remember. I had 2 Fuller's London Prides, a Dirty Bastard and some Scotch. Might have been some after school activity for my kids? I did register that on weekdays after 3/1 I almost always had 5 or 6 beers/ day.

 

I usually work Mon-Thu so a typical week for me would be one per night on those nights and 3 or 4 throughout the day on each of my days off.

Mondays none.
Tuesdays I'll have a beer or two if I have extras.
Wednesdays is wing night, so I tend to have 2 beers (sometimes craft, sometimes not).
Thursdays it depends, but usually 1-6 (sometimes craft, sometimes not).
Fridays I tend to have about 3-5.
Saturdays I also tend to have about 3-5.
Sundays none.

Thankfully I keep my tolerance rather low, so I need less beer to get dat buzz.

I've been participating in a weight loss program for the last 12 weeks, so I'm at 1-2 beers per week. Either one bomber or two 12oz'ers. The hard part will be sticking to that once the program ends!

 

I have about 10-14 per week, usually on the same day. So like 1-2 per day.

 

A few years ago I cut back on pop, switched from whole to 1% milk, and drank more water. I hoped that would be enough to allow me to drink casually most of the week. I probably have 2 beers 4 nights a week and 1 bottle of wine a week. A few days out of the month I'll have 6-12 drinks a day. I'm the heaviest I've been right now. I'm still only 210-215 lbs and 6'5, but I feel fat. I don't look fat but I definitely have a small beer belly. I normally weigh around 190-200. Sorry for sounding like a girl! LoL

 

Depending on the week, I like to have a beer a night. I'll go for a second beer if I have the time to enjoy it. Some weeks I am not able to have a beer due to work going late. For me, beer is a healthy part of my diet. I'm the healthiest that I've ever been since playing hockey in college and made it through the winter without even a sniffle. That said, while I enjoy having a beer a night, I LOVE having a couple beers with friends. It makes them taste even better!

 

Yeah - apparently only one of 7 people on record that can remember every single thing they've ever done since childhood.
Kind of sad actually.

any friend of beer is a friend of mine.

if you mean any whales or beers I traded for then the answer is no. Every beer I drank came from Beers of the World or Wegmans.

 

Usually one per night, sometimes two. Any more than 3 per night is not good, any less than 1 per night is not good. Period.

 

How anyone can drink even one Bass Ale is beyond me... Haha! Sorry Just not a fan onf that one

 

Before going on vacation to miami, I tried to cut it down. Had a beer about every other day.
Now that I'm back, I'm having about 3 a day. It helped that I brought a huge haul back of tasty new beers. Just had a humidor IPA.
