A beer a day

Monday through Thursday, maybe a 12 ounce bottle a night, maybe nothing. Friday through Sunday, at least a bomber, maybe another 12 ouncer is the bomber was lowish in ABV.

 

If you only drink one beer per day, then how the fuck are you qualified as an "Advocate". That is a casual consumer at best

 

It all depends on what beers you are drinking per day, my man:

Monday: Delirium Nocturnum
Tuesday: Midas Touch
Wednesday: Three Philosophers
Thursday: Sweet Baby Jesus
Friday: Don't have to work the next morning, so drink whatever, how many ever, I want!
Saturday: Repeat of Friday
Sunday: Nightstalker (I can start drinking earlier, and have time to enjoy a bomber)

Rinse, repeat.

 

I stop by the LIQ on weekends & I usually pick up enough to have a beer everyday after work. So I usually have a beer every weekday & more on weekends.

 

People seem to ignore this. Just because we drink beer doesn't mean we don't care about our weight or how we look.

 

I only really drink beer on Friday and Saturday, with the occasional beer or two during the week.

 

A beer a day can be good for you, but I find it is best served directly getting home from work. A buddy in Japan has a dad who worked long days, and every night when he got home he split a beer with his mom.

Always help to have a little milk thistle too, just in case.

 

If I'm drinking more sessionable beers (lately that's been Red Chair for me), I will typically drink maybe 2 per night after rehearsal, if I'm drinking something special or bombers, then typically just one. weekends tend not to be any higher, and sundays are definitely lower as I have weekly activities that evening before which I don't drink. Thursdays we have a weekly get together, and I might have three or four beers if we're car pooling, but if I'm driving I don't have more than 2.

Wow, I drink maybe 3 beers a WEEK. Some amazing consumption patterns in here.

 

Since January I've consumed, on average, 3-6 beers per week. 3-4 of those beers are stand alone, while 2-3 usually happen on Saturday or Sunday. I've also lost over 20 pounds since January as well. Of course it may work differently for other people, but I have to think that as long as you eat right, you can stay healthy and lose weight while also drinking beer in relative moderation.

I also want to say that, for me, the weeks where I had one night where I went out and ate bad food and drank beer at the same time were the weeks where I didn't lose as much weight. The weeks where I ate worse/more rather than drank more were the weeks that I didn't lose as much weight.

Though I also recognize that I drink far less than a lot of people on here, even on a heavy week.

 

Damn, man, you may be on to something! I have not been sick since my craft beer "experience" started a couple of years ago. I usually have one or two a day after work and sometimes a 3rd on the weekend days. Cheers!
