I just noticed that whoever created the last discussion before this one marked a milestone of 25,000 threads in this forum. Far and away the busiest of the group. However, all that you win is the little bit of notoriety that this post generates. Sadly I didn't take the time to figure out who is the winner. EDIT: It looks like the winner is probably @EmperorBevis with today's WBAYDN thread. Way to go, Bevis!
wonder how many troll threads are buried in those 25K -- you know - the "my Heineken bottles are cracked" or "I don't like beer - any suggestions?" kinda threads. I'd bet at least a few hundred
Updated the thread title to clarify that this is a milestone for the Beer Talk forum. Since switching to this forum platform on February 22, 2012, we currently have around 253,340 threads across all forums. (It'd be much higher, but hundreds of thousands of old trade threads have been deleted over the years.) @EmperorBevis has created 54 of them.

@JamFuel & myself spent a good few hours, imbibing, strolling, relaxing & of course chatting and we both agreed that even though the site is the oldest online beer resource that the greatest achievement of BeerAdvocate is to create a society. The contribution of BeerAdvocates has created something more than a website or logging of beers & their statistics, but a genuine community, where the differences in our backgrounds, characteristics, experiences & environments can be celebrated in beer talk & friendships formed.
