On my way back from San Diego recently, stopped for a mexi-nosh at Los Golondrinas, my long time favorite eatery in South Orange County. Our order was going to take a little extra time to prepare and since I was steps away from Dog Pawrk Brewing, took advantage of DPB's proximity.

Pleasant place, attractive indoor/outdoor location, open about 18 months, convivial staff. Had a black cherry hefeweizen with a nice fruitiness balancing a dry mouthfeel. Not a heavy ester presence, which was a good thing. Tasty beer. They allow Golondrinas eats so I enjoyed a second black cherry (don't leave in a hefe, leave in a minute and a) hefe with my damn scrumptious chicken mole burrito.

Would like to try some of their other beerses - there were a couple of ba stouts on tap - but since I live in La Habra, sadly that's probably not going to be real soon.

DPB is near the 5 fwy, just off Ortega Hwy at 27122 Paseo Espada in the Capistrano Business Center.
