I know this has probably been asked and answered before but I tried searching the forum to no avail.

I have a package coming to me and I tracked it and it said this in the early morning before it reached the origin facility:

Improper shipment - Unable to deliver shipment - Returning to shipper

Then it says arrived at location, then damaged reurning to sender 15 minutes later.

What could this mean? I have never had this happen before...

I had one last week, broken bottle, wet box, they repacked it without the broken bottle in a dry box and returned it to me(the shipper).

Up until 2 months ago I had never had any kind of problem. I have had 4 packages either coming or going with issues, so I just assumed that since the end of football season someone at FEDEX has been dropkicking boxes:slight_frown:

Sounds like a break and it's back at the local facility. From there any of many things could happen to it - destroyed, returned to sender, repackaged and sent on to the destination, etc. Have the sender give them a call and see what is going on. As the receiver you won't be able to do anything with it.
