There is no perfect stout - barrel aged or not - but hot damn does Marshal Zhukov come close!

I agree with all the love for FBS/Ten Fidy/Old Rasputin...

I also agree that there are too many to just pick one...

However, to name a few that I haven't seen named in this thread:

Bible Belt (of course it would… its base beers are Prairie Bomb! and Evil Twin EMJ)
    Mikkeller Beer Geek Vanilla Shake
    Stone Xocoveza
    ST Choklat
    Peche Mortel

Edit: Add Old Raspy on Nitro to that list.

So much this. It's so good. So is Peche Mortel.

Nobody said Dark Lord? As well as all the other ones that have been mentioned, that one's pretty full bodied and tasty for being non barrel aged.

    Correct.

Everyone else failed this test - up to this point...and will be punished severely.

Dare I say I like the spiced stouts more than the barrel aged ones?

It's like if you walked into a bar and they had abraxas and bourbon county on tap. Which would you choose? I'd choose abraxas.

Does Victory at Sea count? Technically a porter but they're really the same damn thing.

Mornin Delite I'd rank this one the best by a mile but -imo- the best should be somewhat available.
Even More Jesus (The initial release in the 11.2 oz bottles was considerably tastier, imo. That brew was ambrosial. The 650 is simply excellent)
