Having a few of my favorites that IMO are absolutely perfect for the style. Perfectly constructed where there is absolutely nothing that could be done to improve it.

    Old Mecklenburg Capt Jack Pilsner
    BC Coffee.

    Absolute perfection in a glass.

NG Hometown Blonde german pilsner. Not a very sexy style so it flies far under the radar, but to me it is the epitome of what I want in a crisp, drinkable lager. It's certainly more on the american side of the pilsner spectrum with ample hopping so style traditionalists may take exception but regardless I wouldn't change a thing.

Now I just need to learn to brew a clone because they don't release it nearly often enough.

I don't care (kidding) what anyone says, HT. I absolutely love it. That's my opinion, and I'm sticking to it.

BCBS. It's just a perfect blend of delicious stout, barrel character and bourbon.

The last perfectly constructed beer that I had was Capitol Special Pilsner. So, so good...

Honorable mentions include Sierra Nevada Kellerweis, Sierra Nevada German Style Kolsch and Atwater D-Light Kolsch style.

For me it was Crusher from the Alchemist. Hopefully when they open their new brewery it will be available more often.

Agreed. Just had it for the first time yesterday. Any mention of Heady should initiate the close of this thread(kidding).

There's a lot of worthy beers that will be posted in this thread, sir. Kudos on having good taste, though.

Perfection is something strived for but never reached. In the meantime, plenty of beers are brewed and consumed in pursuit of this "perfection."

Lawson's Double Sunshine. Heady Topper seemed boring in comparison.

    Others?

BCBS and Supplication come to mind.

old rasputin, stouts are my least favorite style of beer and this is objectively the "best" beer i have ever had. again i admit that i'm far from a stout expert but the hype/prices of big name stouts while this can be found anywhere for 10 bucks a 4pack blows my mind. honorable mention to daisy cutter being the perfect pale ale.

And btw BCBCS is really not a great BA coffee stout...there are so many better ones out there....

Cantillon Fou Foune is perfect Lambic. I would say Tired Hands Alien Chruch is a near perfect IPA

I love craft beer. I love very well brewed craft beer even more so because not all craft beers are brewed well. Does that mean a beer not rated as a (5) = less than perfection?
