I saw it on the shelf at a beer store, got excited since I've only had it on draft and picked up a bottle without checking the freshness date. When I got home I put it in the fridge and later that night took a look at it. I must have disturbed the contents somewhat because when I took a look at it, there was a shitload of floaties and sediment in the bottom like it was unpasteurized or bottle conditioned. When I looked for the freshness date, it had been partially rubbed out and when I rubbed the rest of it, it disappeared. I know it's drinkable but I'm wondering if this is what it's supposed to be or have I been hoodwinked into buying a very old bomber of beer.

According to their site, it comes out once a year in September.

I don't know if that's 100% accurate... but I would guess that's a bottle from August or September of 2012.

The review on BA says it comes out in January & September so one of them is wrong. But if the Avery site is correct, I got hoodwinked.
