    I ran across a sixer of The Magician today. When was the last time this was released in bottles?? Seems like it might have been a while, and the bottles looked a little dusty. Anyone know for sure? Thanks in advance.

    It's on tap at Short's pub now, so they must have just brewed a fresh batch (however, no announcement of bottles has been released) or they are proud enough of how the beer ages so that they are willing to put an aged keg on line for enjoyment. I liked it. Even if it is from 2013 I'd buy it.

    We brew this is kegs year-round. That six pack you saw is very old, and I urge you to let the management of that store know they are selling are extremely outdated six pack of beer- unless, of course, you enjoy the current taste of it.

    Had a anniversary ale last night and in the few months time it sat mellowed the orange and peppercorn and tasted amazing..

    Thanks for the responses. I assumed it was a pretty old six pack. The same store was also selling the Autumn Ale with the old logo. That should have tipped me off.

    Sorry, don't know what Rare or BCBVS is, so can't say if they had them or not.

    Drain pours by now anyway, BA Stouts and Barleywines really don't age well. Maybe if they were IPAs or something.
