A request for help from all my fellow Michiganders.

    Ok, all. I'm originally from Michigan (specifically TC) but living in Florida for the past three years. My cousin is getting married over the summer, and I want to get him some nice bottles of stuff not available in Michigan. I'm already planning on getting him a bottle of Cascade Apricot or Figaro, but I want to know what else I could bring back that he's probably not had due to lack of distribution in that area. Any and all suggestions are welcome. Thanks in advance!

    #1 would be Cigar City for sure. Beyond that there are a lot that I would consider: Boulevard, Crooked Stave, Prairie, Ballast Point to name a few.

    Also, I was just looking at Florida distro on Seekabrew - how the hell does Fat Head's distro to Florida but not Michigan?

    EDIT: Hoppin' Frog too. What's the deal Ohio?

    I've wondered the same thing. I've received extras from Sweetwater Brewery numerous times from Florida traders and always enjoyed them.

    Where does your cousin live? You can always bring some extras and trade as well. Especially if it is near Lansing... just saying.

    That's the real question, what IS the deal with Ohio ... in general, in the entire grand scheme of things... :slight_smile:
