In preparation, I filled the kiddie pool with 10 gallons of wort last night to let the wild yeast in the crisp Haverhill air inoculate it.

Snagged the new blueberry Allagash yesterday (Saison Violette). It's awesome.

Do I want two four packs of that or just one? The problems I’m facing today...

Amorys Tomb in Maynard is putting out some absolute gems. Everything from barrel aged, dry hopped, mixed ferm, and classic.

The deep cut has been located and is now in my fridge. It is my second to last bottle.

Was trying to decide where to place a pickup beer order today, and this convinced me a ride to Amorys Tomb would be a good idea. Looking forward to it now.

Also grabbed some cans at Medusa since it is relatively close. Love that you can order single cans from them.

If anyone finds themself in Bellingham, WA (about an hour and a half drive from Seattle), go to Otherlands. This is Ben's new brewery. They opened a few weeks ago and obviously, I haven't been yet, but this is one of the few breweries I would blindly recommend because of Ben.

Tasting notes? Jealous of anybody with remaining enlightenment bottles.

I am at a loss for words for how well this has held up. The head retention and carb were both awesome. It's still soft white grape, funk, maybe a little sweet peach as well. I loved this the first time I had it on draft at Hobo and I love it now.

I bought a lot of beer today, but I’m leaning toward trying Allagash De Nouveau Rouge. I got a growler of it. Here is the description from Allagash:
This wheat beer spent time with raspberries that had previously been used in Coolship Red, a spontaneously fermented beer we brew. The result is a tart, berry-filled, multi-layered beer. ABV 5.3%
