A sampling of NYC breweries

    Dear beer afficianados,

    I want to plan a NYC beer tasting with some friends before they move out of Brooklyn. What is on the must-visit list in terms of breweries/tasting rooms? Brooklyn preferred but other boroughs OK as long as it's not too far on the tube.

    Other Half is a must, and I'd like to make it up to SingleCut in Queens. What else do you recommend?

    I recommend Threes then OH then LIC Beer Project (the best subway ride in NYC is taking the F from OH to LIC BP) then SingleCut.

    You can swing by Strong Rope on your way from Threes to OH if you're so inclined.
